Fruit Picking at Canoelands Orchard
Head over to Canoelands and Enjoy a wonderful day at Canoelands Orchard picking your own fresh fruit. Entry is $5 Adults and $3 for children ( 5-15), under 5 free or family of 2 adults and 2 or more children $16. Fruit is currently $6 per kilo although this may vary throughout the season. They are aiming to give the public the opportunity to buy direct from the farmer.
Walk The Old Great North Road – World Heritage Walk
The Old Great North Road – World Heritage Walk is a historic walking trail in New South Wales, Australia. It follows the route of an old convict-built road that was constructed between 1826 and 1836 to provide a land route between Sydney and the Hunter Valley region. Read more here
Experience the Hawkesbury River
The Hawkesbury river is at our door step and is an ideal spot for a day trip or to spend your time on the river whilst at Del Rio. Put the boat in the water we have 2 jetty’s available. If you don’t have a boat that’s fine, grab a fishing line and catch some dinner. If this doesn’t sound appealing to you do what the mums do and relax on a picnic rug and soak in the beautiful views.
