PARK RULES & INFORMATION
We welcome you as a guest to Del Rio Riverside Resort. Our facilities are here for all our guests to enjoy and by following these simple rules, everyone will be guaranteed an enjoyable Del Rio experience. Should you require assistance at any time during your stay please contact a member of our staff immediately, as we are committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Our Refund Policy:
Please note, a 24 hr cooling off period applies from the time the booking was placed, should you wish to cancel during this 24hr period you can do so free of charge. By continuing with the booking after this point you are agreeing to our cancellation policy.
There are no refunds for reasons of weather,(rain, hail, extremes in temperatures, wind, storms, minor flooding,) power outages, illness includes ( covid related close contact or sickness) , accidents,
work changes, or if you shorten your stay after arrival. No refunds for guests not arriving on expected dates. A $30 booking fee applies to all cancelled reservations. Reservations require 30 days notice of cancellation for a refund minus the booking fee. If cancelled with less than 30 days notice , 50% of the total tariff is forfeited except for a one (1) night stay 100% of the tariff will be forfeited. Should we be able to re-book the full length of your booking for the same dates with a new booking a refund of your lost deposit may be refundable with a deduction of an administration fee. If booked under a special or a deal the whole amount is forfeited. Cancellations must be submitted in writing (or via email). We do not cancel bookings over the phone. Refunds can ONLY be processed onto the credit / debit card used to make the original payment. If the card has
been cancelled or is now expired the refund will still go back into the same account originally debited. If you have closed the account the card was attached to and the refund cannot be processed onto the original card your
money will remain in your guest account as a credit for use at another time.
Change Of Dates : Date changes with less than 30 days notice of arrival are considered a cancellation and the same refund policy applies as above.
These rates & tariffs are correct at the time of booking and are subject to change without notice.
Noise volumes: Our noise curfew is 10pm; at this time any music should be turned off and noise limited to quiet conversation, at all other times noise should be at level that does not affect other guests in the Resort.
Amplified noise, such as powered speakers, car or boat radios, karaoke machines, etc are not
permitted. Please be considerate by ensuring you do not interfere with the quiet enjoyment of the
resort for other guests at any/all times.
Children: All children are to be under the supervision of an adult at all times and must be back at their booked
accommodation under direct adult supervision after dark. We do not allow bikes, scooters,
skateboards or the like to be ridden after dark for safety reason.
Boom Gates: No tailgating or lifting of boom ever or any reason : This is strictly prohibited. Damages to boom gate will be charged accordingly to credit card on file under the booking name. By entering the
resort you are agreeing to this condition.
There is space for ONE (1) vehicle per camp site and/or cabin, with TWO ( 2) spaces per villa. If you have multiple vehicles to unload, you will need to unload and exit with the first vehicle before entering with the second.
Alcohol: You are welcome to bring your own but please consider bringing plastic or cans. Glass is strictly prohibited from the Playground and pool area. Alcohol should be consumed at your own site or cabin/villa, without effecting other resort guests and in a sensible moderation. Please do not walk around the resort whilst consuming alcohol. Drunken or rude alcohol related behaviour will not be tolerated, you will be asked to vacate the resort as we reserve the right to remove drunk, rude and/or offensive guests with no monetary reimbursement.
Resort Grounds: At all times care and consideration is taken in ensuring the Resort grounds are well maintained, however please keep in mind that these are outdoor grounds and be aware that you may find areas requiring additional care including but not limited to the following: Undulating
areas with divots, potholes, tree roots or shallow holes that may be covered by grass or dirt as well as other forms of natural flooring that you would expect to find in any camping/outdoor parkland area. Del Rio Riverside Resort asks that all guests and their visitors take the time to become aware of your surroundings and be sensible and take care whilst at the Resort. No responsibility will be taken by Del Rio Riverside Resort for injuries, minor or major, caused to any guest or person / persons either staying or visiting you for the day within the Resort grounds during your stay.
Parking: There is space for ONE (1) vehicle per camp site and/or cabin, with TWO ( 2) spaces per villa. If you have multiple vehicles to unload, you will need to unload and exit with the first vehicle before entering with the second. For the safety of all road users please do not park on roadways or foot paths. Extra parking is available in the visitors’ car park adjacent to reception. The Resort’s entire riverbank & foreshores or any area in front of the Riverside Villas is a ‘no parking’ zone. ( Please obey all road and parking signage ).
Pets: Del Rio Resort is a wildlife sanctuary and we value the many species inhabiting the park. Pets are therefore ONLY permitted to stay on powered camp/caravan sites. HOWEVER PROHIBITED ON LONG WEEKENDS AND PEAK TIMES.
Anyone wishing to bring a pet must call to add the pet into the booking PROIR to arrival. Any booking with a pet in attendance who has not been added to the booking will be a asked to leave, forfeiting their booking, with no refund.
Pet Rules muse be signed prior to arrival and all Pet Rules must be adhered to during their stay within the Resort.
Pets are not permitted IN any of our roofed accommodation, are not permitted to be locked in cars or left unattended at any time. Pets are not permitted to be led by children but must be on lead at all times.
Speed Limit: 10 kph. WALKING PACE applies to the whole park. PLEASE WATCH FOR CHILDREN AND OTHER PEDESTRIANS and remember that public road rules apply.
Generators: Generators are NOT permitted within the grounds of Del Rio Riverside Resort.
Rubbish: Please ensure all rubbish is secured in bags and deposited in the bin stations throughout the resort. We prohibit the relocation of bins from the bin stations to your site/accommodation. Please tidy up your site / area at the end of the night as well as upon departure.
Rio Cafe: The Licensed Cafe is ONLY open weekends and school holiday week days. Please see your confirmation email for more details.
Visitors: Day visitors MUST report to reception, pay their $10 per person fee. If you invite people to visit you at Del Rio please ask them to park their car in the visitors’ car park and check in at the office to pay a day visitor fee of $10.00 per person (children under 4 are free.) Your guests need to know your surname and your site booking name so we may direct them to you. By law the resort has a duty of care to all patrons on the grounds, we have a legal require for safety reasons to be able to account for everyone in the event on an incident. SO PLEASE UNDERSTAND – ALL GUESTS MUST REPORT TO RECEPTION BEFORE ENTERING THE RESORT.
Video Surveillance: Video Cameras are positioned throughout the resort and are used for security reasons. Please be aware these are monitored and recorded by resort management, we reserve the right to use all video
footage as we see fit.
Boat Ramp, Docking & Mooring Fees: A $20 Water Craft Fee is payable by all Guests & Day Visitors who bring a boat or jet ski. This fee covers your stay and usage of boat ramps, trailer parking, jetty docking, shared use of mooring buoys and boat washing facilities.
River Activities: If you intend to spend the weekend on the river please check to make sure there are no planned events that may curtail your use of a boat. You can check on the internet at www.skiracingnsw.com.au
or www.maritime.nsw.gov.au. If you cancel your booking due to river activity, we can only refund within our “Refund Policy” guide. We do not take responsibility to advise you of races or events on the river.
Swimming Pool / Splash Pad Area: The swimming pool and splash pad are open from 8am to 8pm. For the safety of your children they should be in the company of an adult at all times. No life guard is on duty, and Del Rio does not accept responsibility for your children. Only accredited swimming and safety aids are permitted in the pool. To assist with the cleanliness and hygiene of our pool water please ensure that children who are not toilet trained are wearing elastic banded swim pants. No alcohol, glass or smoking is permitted within the pool & splash pad areas.
Push Bikes: Whilst we welcome bikes within the resort, we do not allow them to be ridden within the grounds after dark. We also ask that bikes, skateboards, roller blades and scooters are not to be ridden on footpaths, around the amenities blocks, the pool, beer garden or boom gates. Del Rio strongly recommends that helmets be worn by both adults and children; this is the riders or parents’ responsibility, not doing so is at your own risk.
Electric Bikes: Electric scooters, skateboards and the like, mini/pocket bikes and quad bikes are dangerous and are not to be ridden within the grounds of Del Rio Resort at anytime. We do not allow children’s electric ride in/on cars or the like or remote control cars as they cannot be seen by vehicles and are dangerous.
Amenities: Amenities are cleaned regularly and we ask you leave them in a tidy condition. Children 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult and are not permitted to play in or around the amenities blocks.
Golf: Please attend reception first to confirm the course is open and pay green fees, the course is 9 holes and the first tee is next to reception. Persons found playing golf without having paid green fees, will
be charged double.
Water: Our water is from a dam and may be discoloured due to tannins from leaves in the water. Our water is tested regularly and is completely safe to drink and bathe in.
Drones: Drones (or any other unmanned flying devices) are allowed at Del Rio but must be flown in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority guidelines. They are not to be flown above people and
photos / video of others without their permission is strictly prohibited.
Fires: Campfires are permitted during the winter months as long as they are in a suitable fire brazier- they cannot be on the ground or in large gallon drums. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN FIRE PITS. Please do not light fires on our open parkland areas and/or riverbanks. No fires are to be lit during summer months. (October-March/April depending on conditions).
Fireworks: Fireworks are illegal and are strictly not allowed, people lighting fireworks will be referred to police and banned from the resort.
Cleanliness: Accommodation/ Sites and their surrounds should be left reasonably clean and tidy to assist our hard working housekeepers and grounds-staff in preparing your accommodation for its next guests. Guests staying in villas, lodges, houses and cabins are expected to do their own dishes before departure. A cleaning fee may be applied for cabins or sites left in an unacceptably dirty, damaged or unreasonable condition.
Anti-Social behaviour: At Del Rio Resort we want every guest to have a relaxing, safe and enjoyable stay. Behaviour which adversely impacts other guests or Del Rio Staff will not be tolerated. Such behaviours include, but are not limited to: Violent or abusive language, aggression, drunkenness, vandalism or malicious damage. Engaging in these behaviours may result in immediate eviction; no refunds for your loss of stay will be granted. Should you unfortunately be subjected to this kind of behaviour by another guest or visitor, please contact management immediately so we may deal with the situation. PLEASE BE ADVISED:- All guests are asked to follow the directions of resort staff, management and security who’s directions are final. We ask that you oblige without argument or conflict. This is a condition of your stay with us. Anyone not adhering to these requests by staff will be asked to vacate the resort immediately. Failing that – Authorities will be called, action will be taken, and charges will be laid. Del Rio Resort’s Policy to Anti Social Behaviour is Zero Tolerance.
