What a big sacrifice our Manager “Bill G” gave up for cancer.
Bill went along to the unique and memorable charity event ” Hills Relay for Life” on the Saturday 4th May 2013.
The Hills Relay for Life is an overnight community event where teams participate in a relay-style walk to raise funds for the NSW Cancer Council. This wonderful event brings the whole community together for a time of fellowship, fun, entertainment, celebration for those who have beaten cancer and of course remembrance of those who have succumbed to this terrible illness.
Bill’s participation consisted of giving up his lovely locks for charity. First of all our of the Del Rio Sports amp; Recreation Club team donated their tips for 2 months to contribute to the big head shave. Altogether we raised $520.00
