Wisemans Ferry is well known for catching flathead, mainly around the lower Wisemans Ferry area, around 5kms downstream from Wisemans Ferry. The keen fisherman loves fishing from Singleton Road, Wisemans Ferry because bream are very attracted to this area.
Mulloway are biting near Spencer, mainly during the months of spring, yellowtail is good bait and for best results, start fishing at dusk.
In the summer months is when the Mudcrabs come out, so make sure you have your fishing net ready when you pull them to the surface. There have been many caught off the Del Rio Riverside Resort’s Wharf.
Fishing from Webbs Creek is also a great spot, where ever you throw in your line, we don’t think you will be disappointed.
